Enrico Campagnoli Takes Office as World President of International Real Estate Federation
|
Enrico Campagnoli from Milano, Italy, was recently installed as World President for The International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) during an official ceremony at the 61st FIABCI World Congress in Bali, Indonesia.
Campagnoli has an extensive background in the global real estate community and is a Past Chair of a subsidiary body of the United Nations (UNECE/Real Estate Market Advisory Group). His primary goals during his term are to enhance FIABCI’s leadership position in the real estate community by building upon the relationship between FIABCI and the United Nations; supporting new Green standards for global real estate development and identifying opportunities for FIABCI in the areas of membership offerings, education and worldwide collaborations. “I am honored to serve as World President of FIABCI and am committed to enhancing the global leadership position of FIABCI which is vital for the world’s social and economic benefits,” explained Campagnoli.
His vision is to position FIABCI as a major leader in the globalization of a real estate market. This in turn will minimize the risk associated with international transactions and in financial products backed by real estate assets. He plans to provide support for “green” development; promote and implement the principles for the development of the real estate market that are in the document “Key Components for a RE Market Framework,” just produced as an UNECE official document to become a more efficient and homogeneous RE market and to take an active role focusing on social responsibility in order to contribute more effectively to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) of United Nations.
Key strategies include:
- Utilizing new technologies for more effective communications throughout the world and to provide effective tools to members to enable them to access international business opportunities
- Implementation of FIABCI University e-learning, which will provide practical global experiences for education of students and professionals
- Establishment of a Media Working Group which will improve FIABCI and the real estate private sector image
Campagnoli brings a wealth of experience to his term having served FIABCI in numerous leadership positions. He was awarded the FIABCI World Medal of Honor. |

Understanding the need for private and public/government partners, Sheldon initiated worldwide Trade Missions in FIABCI that incorporated a platform for bringing our members in front of local political leaders and solving problems of mutual interest while sharing solutions. Through this initiative FIABCI Members were able to create and nurture relationships with dignitaries and world real estate leaders to make their world a better place to live, work and play through the use of real estate. These Trade Missions and systems of exchange continues throughout our chapters today. The UN has always been important to Sheldon as well. In fact, A DAY AT THE UN, a forum where global real estate executives could meet to discuss international real estate issues, was developed by Sheldon many years ago and we enjoy that event annually still today. Last year, Sheldon was a major sponsor of our UN program, "Real Estate and the Financial Crisis: Causes, Effects and Impacts on Development." His investment made that program possible. He mentors many World Presidents any time they ask and never turns them away when requested. He is recognized as a supporter and encourager and continues to seek solutions when asked. FIABCI International to Have On-Line Marketing Sessions Beginning this Summer
Dear Fellow FIABCI Member:
FIABCI World President Enrico Campagnoli has requested the implementation of Web-based marketing sessions to provide a direct benefit to our members.
Presenters must be a FIABCI member in good standing and will be allowed to present up to five properties, services or needs (time and space permitting) and will be bound by the same terms and conditions as the Congress based marketing sessions.
Once we have had a trail run or two to identify and work out technical bugs, a minimum of four sessions would be held each month. One for each of the larger FIABCI Regions (Americas, Asia-Pacific and European) and Global. As the marketing sessions become better attended, the frequency will increase. The goal is to have sessions weekly once they are well established and attended.
Only FIABCI Members will be able to present. However, audience participation will be promoted and open to anyone. To increase exposure and expand our reach, we will actively promote the sessions to current and potential Principal Member organizations in addition to any other real estate professionals we can identify.
Please take a moment to provide input, suggestions and if able some volunteer time as we get started and then make changes to improve on each session as we learn.
For now, the general format of the sessions will likely be as follows.
The sessions will be moderated by an appointed volunteer member of the Marketing and Networking Division.
Each session will be scheduled 21 days in advance and will be promoted on an “opt-in” basis, by region, through the FIABCI Broadcast communication system.
Initially, participants will be provided with an Excel/PowerPoint slide designed specifically for the property type or service offered and will include the member’s full contact information for follow-up after the session.
During the live marketing session, introductions will be made by the moderator. Each of the static presenter slides will be posted in sequence and presenter’s voice line will be opened for narration. Questions will be allowed on a time available basis only.
Since each slide will include the presenter’s full contact information, audience members will be able to contact the presenters directly for follow-up.
Please feel free to e-mail me or pick up the phone and call me at 713-880-4321 to share your thoughts. If I am not able to answer, be sure and leave me a voice mail and I will get back with you as soon as I am able.
Once again, I ask you to please take a moment to provide input, suggestions and if able some volunteer time as we get started and then make changes to improve on each session as we learn. (Are you getting the message here?)
Thank you,
Luke Romero
President, Marketing and Networking Division, FIABCI
