Message from the President of FIABCI-Africa, E. Osita Okoli
My dear distinguished FIABCI delegates and noble colleagues,I bring you my wamest compliments, trusting that you are well and that those of you who attended the Bali World Congress returned safely to your abodes.
Please permit me to express my profound appreciation for your support during the recent Elections in Bali,in spite of my rather late entry into the contest. As I was privileged to share with some of you in Bali,my action was prompted by some worrisome developments in our beloved Federation.
I have since congratulated my dear friend and World President-Elect (Alex Romanenko),promising to work with him,our World President (Enrico Campagnolli) and the rest of the FIABCI Board to lift our Federation to loftier heights. With your invaluable help and untiring support,we shall surmount the imminent challenges in our quest for greater glory.
Once again,I thank you for your remarkable support and encouragement.
God bless you; God bless FIABCI!

FIABCI Holds Successful Trade Mission in Africa
The International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) held a very successful trade mission to Africa in March 2010 to highlight the opportunities currently available in the world's second largest continent. Members of the FIABCI delegation were treated to nine days of business and recreational activities in one of the most culturally rich parts of the globe. According to Lisa Kurrass, FIABCI Past World President, "The Mission to Africa was very successful on many levels because we gained so much valuable information and had unprecedented opportunities to meet with high level government officials that welcomed the active participation of FIABCI and encouraged our participation in future real estate developed in the continent."
The African Mission also included exciting tours of projects in Cape Town, South Africa and Abuja, Nigeria. Both areas currently have a number of key commercial and residential initiatives underway which proved inspiring to FIABCI members. "There are many real estate ventures currently in process within South Africa and Nigeria that we believe could be of great importance to additional developers and investors who work closely with FIABCI and recognize the significance of partnering with FIABCI as the world's leading international real estate organization," said Osita Okoli, FIABCI African President.
During FIABCI's visit to Abuja, the delegation heard presentations from representatives of South Africa, Tanzania, Ghana, Egypt and Tunisia that described real estate development and investor opportunities within their markets. "Our African Mission was extremely successful in so many ways. Our delegation was treated to wonderful expressions of the African culture and we had numerous opportunities to network with international investors, developers and other professionals that opened up countless possibilities for our members," said Kurrass.
