Global Housing Foundation, Inc. has recently made an important change in its leadership. Mr. Tim Wilkens is no longer associated with Global Housing or any of its international affiliates.

We welcome Sharon K. Young as our new President. Ms. Young comes from S. K. Young & Associates, an international business-consulting firm which she formed in 2006 after having served six years as CEO of an Association of REALTORS and President of a regional property multi-listing service, and 15 years as president of her own real estate company. Her education includes a BA in business as well as an MBA and post-graduate work from NYU and Duke. She is also a licensed pilot.Her talents will be brought to bear on our continuing mission to create affordable housing where it is most desperately needed around the world.

Global Housing Foundation Appoints Robyn Frank as Director of International Board

April 12, 2010- NEW YORK- The Global Housing Foundation (GHF) President, Sharon Young, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robyn Frank of New York City as Director serving on the International Board.  Daughter of GHF Founder, E. Rene Frank, Robyn brings her extensive experience in human shelter issues to support the challenge from the United Nations HABITAT to forge a public-private partnership to help solve the housing crisis around the world. “My sisters Debbie Petersen and Colette Fraenkel and I are pleased to serve on the Board and have the opportunity to stand behind such a noble endeavor. The Global Housing Foundation was our father's brainchild and a legacy that needs to be preserved. Rene Frank's daughters will carry on and grow our father's dream,” she explained.

GHF is a Non-Profit, United Nations NGO Partner with UN HABITAT devoted to leveraging the expertise and resources of the private real estate community to build affordable housing for the working poor.
