International Real Estate Federation, FIABCI, Celebrates Prestigious Prix d’Excellence Award Recipients at FIABCI World Congress
The International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI)has selected the recipients for its 2010 Prix d’Excellence Awards. Award recipients will be honored at a black-tie Gala Dinner ceremony at the FIABCI World Congress which will take place in Bali, Indonesia on Thursday, May 27th. The Black Tie dinner will be sponsored by BNI, Bank Negara Indonesia which specializes in Green Property Lending.
The Prix d’Excellence is a prestigious honor that recognizes real estate development projects that best embody excellence in all the real estate disciplines involved in its creation. The Prix d’Excellence Award illustrates the FIABCI ideal of “providing society with the optimal solution to its property needs.” In addition to new projects, the award accepts long established or “mature” projects to be submitted. The award is sponsored by the Wall Street Journal.
Awarded by an international panel comprised of top real estate professionals and experts, the FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Award celebrates a project’s overall merit and not just aesthetics, functionality or size. “FIABCI is the only international organization that offers this type of prestigious recognition to worthy projects, “ explains Yeow Thit Sang, President of the Prix 2010. The Prix d’Excellence represents an outstanding achievement and bestows upon the winner the right to use the coveted exclusive award logo,” said Sheldon Good, FIABCI Past World President and Supporter of the Prix d’Excellence. Award recipients also gain access to unique international platforms for their projects and to the FIABCI network of partner organizations worldwide in more than 60 member countries.
Nominations for the Prix d’Excellence Awards are accepted in the following categories: Environmental; Restoration (Heritage); Hotel; Industrial; Master Plan; Office; Public Sector; Residential; Resort; Retail; Rural and Suburban; Specialized; and Sustainable Projects. Among the projects considered for Prix d’Excellence Awards are theme parks, sports clubs, marinas, ski resorts, theatres, hotels, factories; housing complexes, high-rise apartment buildings, malls and shopping centers, educational institutions, libraries, hospitals, airports and parking facilities.
