A Message from the President of the FIABCI Middle East Task Force

Dear FIABCI Colleagues,

Many of you may know of the good work that FIABCI does at the United Nations. Perhaps you have enjoyed meeting together at the annual UN event in New York in October every year. Did you know that we at FIABCI have 26 appointments to the United Nations? That is impressive!

Today, as a UN NGO representative of FIABCI, It is my honor and pleasure to be able to invite a small delegation of FIABCI members to join me to attend the THIRD SESSION OF THE CONFERENCE OF THE STATES PARTIES TO THE UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION AGAINST CORRUPTION in Doho, Qatar from 9-13 November 2009. Additional information can be found at http://www.unodc.org/unodc/en/treaties/CAC/CAC-COSP-session3.html Over the past year, within the FIABCI International Organizations Committee, you may have heard about my work on corruption and money laundering. This has been very near to my heart as a lawyer and a global real estate practitioner, I feel I can give back to our industry in this area.
