AUSTRIA
REAL WIEN took place at the new conference center in Vienna. It was a wonderful opportunity for FIABCI. We have made great contacts with the organisers of this exhibition, (Reed Enterprises)> FIABCI was also interviewed by the biggest daily newspaper of Austria Der KURIER. Another benefit is that we have taken up contacts with most of the exhibitors who mainly represented the Eastern European countries with 8,OOO attendees
We want to thank the METZGER Group and specifically Mr. Alphons Metzger, Past World President of FIABCI, who arranged for our invitation to attend this event.

CYPRUS
The Annual General Assembly of FIABCI-Cyprus took place at its offices headquarters at the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Nicosia on 16 July,2009.

FIABCI President Dinos Michaelides read a letter which the Chapter received from our FIABCI World President Lisa Kurrass “wishing a successful General Assembly and to everyone, the gift of creative ideas, as we come together as one body to cast forward for the future of FIABCI in Cyprus and the rest of the world”.
Dinos Michaelides, on behalf of his 12 member Board, gave a full account of the Chapter’s activities during the last two years and presented the chapter’s plan and budget for the next two years which includes a 50% membership increase.
The President presented to each of his Board members a Trophy for dedicated service to FIABCI. FIABCI Principal Members received a special recognition for their continuous support and dedication to FIABCI. A FIABCI Pin was also handed to all participants at the General Assembly along with a FIABCI logo sticker and a FIABCI pocket year calendar.
The two Principal Members Lakis Ttofarides and Solomon Kourouklides (picture below) presented to President Dinos Michaelides (middle) a valuable trophy for his dedicated service to FIABCI and for excellent leadership as FIABCI-Cyprus President.
Elections for the new FIABCI Board of the Chapter also took place. This new Board will serve for a new two-year term. Dinos Michaelides was unanimously re-elected as President of the Chapter for another two-year term.

FRANCE
FIABCI France held its General Assembly on July 1, 2009 at the Maison de l’Amérique Latine (House of Latin America) situated in Paris 7th arrondissement. The general assembly was followed by a cocktail reception.
HOLLAND
The Dutch Chapter of FIABCI together with the FIABCI Brazilian chapter are organizing a real estate study trip for its members to Brazil and have extended an invitation to the FIABCI Belgian Chapter. The trip will take place from September 17 till 26, 2009
MONACO
The ordinary General Asssembly of FIABCI Monaco took place on Thursday, June 25, 2009.
During the meeting Mr. Sergio Camoletto was elected Treasurer. He is the owner of AFIM (real estate agency in Monaco. (Mr. Jacques Wolzok has stepped down as the treasurer).
Mr. Camoletto represented Monaco during the 60th World Congress in Beijing. He and his spouse were welcomed by the China Real Estate Association.
On Behalf of FIABCI Monaco, Ms. Camoletto greeted the Chinese delegation (see photo below)
Following FIABCI Monaco’s General Assembly, the general assembly of Monaco’s principal member the Chambre Immobilier Monégasque took place. This general assembly was followed by the annual dinner where all the members of the Chambre Immobilier Monégasque came together.
RUSSIA
FIABCI family members in Russia
Two International Congresses & EXPO, devoted to the Luxury and Overseas Real Estate market: Elite Estate (http://www.eliteforum.ru/en/) and INFOREAL (http://www.realfor.ru/en/), were held in St-Petersburg (Russia) on May, 12-16, 2009, under the support of FIABCI-Russia.
Many of the FIABCI family members were in attendance. Four Chapter Presidents (Hendrik Nelde, FIABCI-Belgium; Diana Kirova, FIABCI-Bulgaria; Ilonka Castillo, FIABCI-Dominican Republic; Tatiana Rodionova, FIABCI-Russia), President of FIABCI-Europe 2008-2009 Alex Romanenko and active members of FIABCI-USA: Blaine Ellingson and Ruth Kruger enriched the event business program with their informative speeches and active participation in panel discussions.will take place in St-Petersburg on 1-4th of October, 2009. The Business Agenda of the Congress includes the following sessions: The next Overseas Property Congress and EXPO INFOREAL
- “Realtors Business Worldwide”
- “ Construction and development Overseas”
- “Risk- decreasing mechanisms in Overseas property transactions”
- “Russian buyers’ peculiarities and technologies of Overseas property promotion”
- “International property market: analysis and forecasts”
- “Presentation of foreign projects to potential Russian partners”
